About Marshall Pictures

A legacy of art. A love for animals. A new way to see them.

Marshall Pictures was founded by Oliver Doran, a British photographer with roots in Jersey, a background in commercial portraiture, and a lifelong fascination with storytelling. After a decade photographing global celebrities and luxury brands, Oliver returned to something more personal: a tribute to his grandfather, Marshall, and their shared love for animals.

Here, he reimagines a timeless genre—anthropomorphic portraiture—through a modern lens. Animals dressed in human attire. Poised. Present. Thoughtfully styled and digitally crafted using AI, each image is equal parts historical nod and quiet rebellion.

Every piece is:

  • A limited edition, never to be repeated
  • Printed to museum-grade standards
  • Shipped with a certificate of authenticity
  • A contribution to wildlife protection—10% goes to conservation

Marshall Pictures exists for those who curate with care.
For designers, collectors, and hoteliers who want art that tells a story and stands for something.

Join the Movement

An artwork from Marshall isn’t just about beautiful art—it’s a promise.

We pledge 10% of every sale to wildlife conservation. That means your purchase directly supports organisations like the Durrell Conservation Trust, working on the front lines to protect endangered species and their habitats.

When you hang one of our limited-edition prints, you're not just curating your space—you’re helping preserve the natural world.

It’s art that gives back.
A commitment to beauty with purpose.
A quiet statement that you care.

Own art that matters.
Welcome to Marshall Pictures.

100% Carbon Neutral

Our art printing service is entirely carbon neutral, ensuring that every print and framed artwork we produce has a minimal carbon footprint. By using sustainable materials and offsetting any emissions, we're doing our part to protect our planet. Plus, all our materials, from paper to wood, are sourced responsibly. It's our way of offering you beautiful art that's kind to the Earth.
